The Mathews Messenger: Day 8 - Happy Father's Day

We spent our last full day checking out Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Checked out of the Hyatt Grand Plaza Hotel @ Century Center and made a pass by the Beverly Wilshire Hotel to get a couple photos of the Pretty Woman hotel for April's mom then we went up Beverly Drive (Rodeo was closed in the Two area for Jaguar exposition) to Sunset before turning north to Hollywood Blvd...Passed through Hollywood and drove up to get a good view of the Hollywood sign...drove all the way up to Hollywoodland and had brunch at a nice cafe there (Village Coffee Shop)...made our way back to the popular district and strolled the Hollywood Walk of Fame....the Kodak and Chinese Theatres are very popular...left Hollywood and headed down La Brea past Pinks Hot Dogs (line around the small building) to Wilshire Blvd....got another look at the La Brea Tar Pits....one last stop was Beverly Hills High School then headed wayyyy out east to Ontario...we are at the Best Western Ontario Airport where April will meet her group tomorrow afternoon...she will not have her computer so don't know how much we will hear from her via the blog over the next 10 days...thanks to everyone who kept up with us...hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have enjoyed blogging our great trip...we have about 2400 more pictues to share with you if you'd like!....take care friends...
