More of the South Rim.....this is the easternmost part...including Lipan and Navajo Points and Desert View. Also, a little of the most seen wildlife, including two different lizards!
North Rim views from Bright Angel Point near the Lodge. Winds were beginning to pick up due to a storm system moving inland and up the upper midwest....most of the weather associated with it went much further north, but the winds stuck around and intensified! Thank goodness for straps on hats, or mine would have made its way to the bottom of the canyon!
Josh was most excited when we actually saw wildlife - mule deer! This one was right on the side of the road....luckily, the roads are very sparse with vehicles...we were able to back up and get some great close-ups!
