Day 5 - Vegas to LA
Today was mostly an 'on the road' day....we were able to see some more incredible sights, including parts of the Mojave Desert, Pasadena and Wilshire Blvd in LA. After so many hours in the car, we're a bit spent! But hopefully a good night's rest in our hotel room will do the trick for 3 days of fun in the LA area. Most of the pictures from today have already been posted, but here are a few more.....the first 2 are of the Vegas Strip and Excaliber, where we stayed last night.

The sign Zzyzx was named due to some construction workers sleeping on the job. Note that the Y and X were when the other workers were trying to talk to them and they mumbled in their sleep. (Please also note my odd humor and dry sarcasm.) Thanks for sharing. The blog looks great. :o)
